Seaworthy provides what is important to you as a sailor. You will enjoy great locations, wonderful sailing, and unexpected comforts.
You will start your adventure in the most famous harbor in New England. You will sail to Cape Cod and glorious islands such as Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Cuttyhunk, and Block Island.

You will sail or motor at six or seven knots to your favorite destinations. Current charts will be available to assist your navigation needs. You will have access to a differential GPS and chartplotter. Both will contain all your needed waypoints. One GPS is located on the navigation pod . The other convenient location is in the cockkpit for everyone to view on the port bulkhead. You will be able to monitor your location, destination, speed over ground, and route, as well as your estimated time of arrival.
You will discover comforts which are not available on all charter boats. The interior provides you with three private staterooms. Additionally, the dining table converts to a spacious double for two adults. Your party of seven can wake up with a hot shower. Heat is either activated with shore power or is engine driven. After a swim, rinse off with your freshwater shower located on the swim transom platform.

Two large refrigerators will keep your food supplies cold and fresh. You may also bring ice for the insulated cockpit cooler. Attached to the cooler is a double leafed table to enjoy an outdoor breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Rod holders are available for those of you who would like to fish while sailing or resting in an idyllic harbor. Cook your freshly caught fish on your grill. Cook a half dozen hamburgers in a smoke free environment, always upwind. Sailing is half the fun. At your destination, you can choose a mooring, a slip, or use one or both anchors. The Bruce as well as the CQR has fifty feet of chain and two hundred feet of rode. You will easily raise them with a powerful windlass.
Whether you prefer the comfort of a slip or the economy and solitude which comes from a mooring or anchoring, you will have electricity. A Heart Interface will invert stored battery amps to electrical power. Two large house batteries store two hundred amp hours. The Link 2000 will monitor your remaining stored power. Recharging is accomplished via shore power or the high output capacity alternator.
On hot days, find shelter under your bimini. On rainy days, add the dodger to the bimini for a comfortable sail. In hot or cool weather, you will enjoy listening to your favorite sounds on speakers located in the main salon and in the cockpit.
If you prefer to anchor or moor, you will have our tender to go ashore. The new Avon RIB is powered by a new 15HP Yamaha outboard engine. Exploring new waters will be dry, stable and swift. Six passengers with a twelve hundred pound capacity will have enjoyable adventures.
Seaworthy will be awaiting your arrival in Newport Harbor. You will be greeted on your clean yacht with detailed written and personal instructions. Your cost to bareboat charter Seaworthy is $2,900 per full week.
